Job summary

Marshall Medical Center seeks a Retail Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to oversee the full scope of the pharmacy's operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, efficient prescription fulfillment, inventory control, and financial performance.

The role requires California licensure as a pharmacist, eligibility to serve as PIC, and a Doctor or Master of Pharmacy degree, with a track record of leadership in retail pharmacy settings and strong knowledge of payor relations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Education: Current California Registered Pharmacist License required.
• Education: Doctor or Master of Pharmacy Degree required.
• Knowledge: Minimum 6 years of progressive retail pharmacy experience, with at least 1 year in a management role overseeing operations, regulatory compliance, and budgetary goals.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of standards and regulations required by the Board of Pharmacy, Joint Commission (JC), CDPH, DEA, and other state and federal agencies.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, insurance billing, and payor relations.
• Skills: Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Skills: Ability to implement patient-centered services that expand the role of pharmacy in community health.
• Skills: Proficiency in pharmacy management software and technology.
