Qualifications

• Candidates must have min. 3 years’ pharmacy manager experience.
• Candidate should have previous retail pharmacy experience to be considered.
• Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree
• Active pharmacy license for the state of New York

Responsibilities

• Review and validate provider prescriptions for safety and legality.
• Organize the pharmacy to optimize product identification and access.
• Maintain medication inventory, stocking, labeling, and prevent expiration or deterioration.
• Listen to customers to interpret needs and provide information and advice.
• Prepare medicines with correct dosages and materials for each patient.
• Maintain patient profiles and medication history.
• Stay compliant with HIPAA and credentialing requirements.
• Ensure adherence to Federal, State and Local laws and policies.
• Direct daily work of Pharmacy Technicians and support senior management with performance feedback.
