Qualifications

• Current California Registered Pharmacist license.
• One year of pharmacy management experience or equivalent.
• MBA and/or PharmD degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates principal department operations and collaborates with other department heads to optimize operations.
• Manages outpatient pharmacy operations, workflow, staff, and services; develops metrics to measure performance and improve productivity and quality.
• Performs Pharmacist-In-Charge duties; develops and updates department policies and procedures annually.
• Aims to meet business goals and pharmacy metrics; engages stakeholders to promote growth and profitability.
• Collaborates with executive pharmacy leadership to optimize profits and control expenses; supports budgeting and reporting.
• Leads training for pharmacy staff; oversees staff performance and development, and fosters teamwork.
• Ensures compliance with Federal/State laws, Board of Pharmacy rules, 340B program, and drug enforcement; maintains documentation and reporting.
