Job summary

Kaweah Health seeks a Pharmacist-In-Charge-level professional for its Visalia, CA campus. You will lead inpatient and outpatient pharmacy operations, ensure safe, compliant medication use, and collaborate with Medical Oncology service lines.

You will supervise staff, participate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee activities, and align department goals with hospital-wide quality and patient safety initiatives within a large community health system.

Qualifications

• Current California Pharmacist license required.
• Pharmacy Practice Residency Certificate preferred.
• Pharm.D. degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all the principal duties of a Pharmacist-in-Charge.
• Establish policies and procedure for the department.
• Reviews and revises policies and procedures at least once a year.
• Participates in coordination of principal department operations, including committee functions.
• Serves as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, and advisory committee to the Medical Staff.
• Interacts with other department heads to solve mutual problems.
