Job summary

Health West is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee all Retail pharmacy activities, including services, finances, operations, and professional standards in compliance with federal and state law. The role leads patient care delivery in a retail setting.

The position emphasizes management of the 340B program, policy implementation, staff licensing and training, and collaboration with HR and directors to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• PharmD or bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
• Current State license to practice as a pharmacist in good standing.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and operations.
• Experience with management and/or 340B programs preferred.
• 340B Apexus ACE Certification preferred (must be completed within 12 months).

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical/Retail pharmacy operations and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with state board regulations and legal certifications.
• Implement policies, procedures, and protocols for staff to ensure compliant services.
• Coordinate with HR to ensure staff licensure and continuing education.
• Lead training programs for staff and students in the pharmacy.
• Supervise pharmacists or pharmacy students.
• Coordinate monthly financial reporting for the Director of Pharmacy.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage the Federal 340B program and coordinate with admin/clinic staff.
