POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, greets customers in a friendly, professional manner, screens customer requests, and refers to pharmacist or technician when needed. Provides age-appropriate service, assists with product location courteously, maintains a neat work area, and performs cash register duties ensuring correct transactions. Operates the cash register efficiently, maintains documentation, assists in deposit preparation, and keeps a balanced register. Performs other clerical and technical duties for the Pharmacy department. Reports to the Director, Pharmacy Services, and Retail Pharmacy Supervisor.

Qualifications
Required: Basic math skills, effective communication, professional attitude, ability to handle difficult individuals, High School diploma or equivalent, knowledge of the metric system, typing skills, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and mathematical proficiency.
Preferred: Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience, especially in a pharmacy setting.

Physical/Mental Demands: Medium physical demands, ability to lift 30 pounds, stand for long periods, analyze work situations, problem-solve, perform mathematical calculations, learn drug names, and enter data accurately.
