Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our Wisconsin Pick ’N Save pharmacy team. You will fulfill prescription needs with accuracy, administer vaccines, and provide patient counseling while upholding HIPAA and state/federal laws.

The role emphasizes exceptional service, inventory control, and a professional store image. You should have a PharmD or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy and a current Wisconsin pharmacist license, with excellent math, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current state pharmacist licensure in good standing.
• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Knowledge of basic math and measurements.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill customers' prescription needs with high accuracy.
• Administer vaccines as needed.
• Provide patient counseling and pharmaceutical care.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws (HIPAA).
• Maintain a professional image and adhere to dress standards.
• Understand the trade area, customers and competition.
• Create a positive pharmacy image through service and teamwork.
• Monitor stock replenishment, inventory, records, security and budgets.
• Maintain records for scheduled drugs and compliance reporting.
• Follow procedures for handling pharmacy products from authorized sources.
• Ensure accuracy tools are used appropriately.
• Maintain policy manuals, equipment and signage; ensure staff knowledge.
• Broaden personal knowledge and pharmacy skills.
• Perform essential job functions with/without reasonable accommodation.
