Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for the Retail outpatient setting. The role ensures safe dispensing, adherence to state and federal laws, and supervision of staff in the absence of the Pharmacy Operations Manager.

Outpatient pharmacy operates Monday–Friday 7am–6pm, Saturdays 9am–3pm with one Saturday per month and alternating shifts. Qualifications include a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active RPh license within 90 days, and required certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required.
• RPh license required within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Immunizing Pharmacist certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Doctorate in Pharmacy preferred.
• 1 year of specialty/inpatient/retail pharmacy preferred.
• 3 years of pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispense medications in accordance with state and federal laws.
• Ensure safety standards in dispensing and daily operations.
• Supervise staff in absence of Pharmacy Operations Manager.
• Contribute to the Bedside Delivery Program and other clinical initiatives.
• Review prescriptions and medication orders for appropriateness; document interventions.
