Job summary

RPh on the Go is seeking a licensed pharmacist for a retail position in Altoona, PA. This direct hire role offers a variable schedule with day and afternoon shifts, totaling bi-weekly hours of 74, and focuses on managing and growing pharmacy operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will collaborate with store operations, perform drug utilization reviews, and support immunization and MTM programs while managing inventory and supervising staff.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in PA with immunization certification.
• Current PA license and immunization credential required.
• Pharmacist degree (BPharm or PharmD) with active licensure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with store operations to promote engagement and implement strategies.
• Ensure prescription accuracy via Drug Utilization Review and QA per regulations.
• Grow retail operations by immunizations and MTM programs when available.
• Manage inventory to meet demand and maximize profitability.
• Supervise pharmacists, staff, and training; oversee performance.
• Maintain pharmacy security and resolve customer issues promptly.
• Communicate with physicians to resolve prescription concerns.
• Maintain organized environment and monitor labor costs.
• Prioritize tasks like cycle counts and will-calls for timely completion.
