Job summary

Ingles Markets is seeking a Pharmacist to provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high productivity and adhering to safety and sanitation procedures. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership and team-building skills within a growing regional grocery store chain.

The Pharmacist will dispense prescriptions, provide drug information, and communicate clearly with patients, while supervising pharmacy staff and ensuring compliance with all health regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm D Degree is required.
• Licensed Pharmacist, registered through state board of Pharmacy.
• Certified Immunizer and valid CPR certificate.
• Related Pharmacist work experience, and previous retail work experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within the store, provide exceptional service.
• Provide prompt, professional pharmaceutical dispensing services and maintain strong customer relations.
• Order stock needed for daily operations and train staff on technology and equipment as needed.
• Administer immunizations and vaccines in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Direct pharmacy technicians and cashiers when the Pharmacist-in-Charge is absent.
• Complete required daily and weekly paperwork and update the Pharmacist-in-Charge on progress.
