Job summary

Jconnect is seeking a Retail Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment in Zanesville, OH. The role runs days shift with weekly pay between $3,000 and $3,200 for 40 hours. Start ASAP and support patient care in a fast-paced community pharmacy.

Responsibilities include dispensing and verifying medications, counseling customers, conducting health screenings, administering immunizations, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• Pharmacist certification.
• Current state license.
• COVID card.
• Two supervisor references.

Responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring customers' drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
• Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings.
• Providing immunizations and other medical services, such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
• Keeping accurate customer records.
• Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
• Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from inventory.
• Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Performing other administrative tasks when needed
