Job summary

City of Hope is seeking a Retail Pharmacist to support outpatient operations in a PRN capacity. Under the Retail Pharmacy Manager, you will perform pharmacist duties including review of outpatient prescriptions, accurate dispensing, and patient counseling in the outpatient setting.

The role requires graduation from ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy, and a current Arizona pharmacist license, with a minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience. This position is based in Goodyear, AZ.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the ACPE.
• Minimum 2 years as retail pharmacist.
• Current Arizona pharmacist licensure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all day-to-day retail pharmacy operations and provide exceptional customer service to City of Hope patients, caregivers, and employees.
• Review outpatient prescription and supplement medication orders, ensure accurate dispensing, and provide medication counseling and education to patients in the outpatient setting.
