Job summary

PetSmart is seeking a Retail Customer Service Lead (Key Holder) in Fayetteville, AR to drive the pet parent experience and oversee store safety, cleanliness, and merchandising in support of the brand promise.

You will coach and develop associates, coordinate events and promotions, handle POS transactions, and ensure a high-energy, service-driven environment during all shifts. Excellent communication and leadership are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Full-time availability; ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates associate experience and development, including training, onboarding, mentoring, and coaching.
• Validates completion of operational messages and engagement goals.
• Supports Services businesses when needed and delegates daily tasks.
• Leads as Leader on Duty; addresses associate concerns and escalations.
• Maintains pet parent experience via phone, in person, or online and promotes store events.
• Ensures POS operation and cash handling accuracy; maintains store standards.
