Position Overview

Selected candidates will undergo a 4-8 week onboarding and education program, including rotations in operations and Sales & Service. Upon completion, candidates may be certified to perform as a Retail Personal Banker I, a role focused on using consultative sales to meet customer needs, acquiring new households, and deepening existing relationships. Responsibilities include processing teller transactions and working as part of the platform staff.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Use consultative sales and Financial Needs Assessment to understand customer profiles and needs.
  2. Maintain knowledge of retail products/services and recommend solutions.
  3. Proactively reach out to customers using approved marketing tools.
  4. Focus on cross-selling and outside sales activities.
  5. Build relationships with Business Partners and refer customers for holistic solutions.
  6. Meet/exceed customer experience and sales goals, contributing to revenue growth.
  7. Guide Customer Service Representatives in sales and referrals.
  8. Ensure customer satisfaction with professionalism and a helpful demeanor.
  9. Handle customer issues confidently and maintain confidentiality.
  10. Follow all policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  11. Participate in loan and bankcard processes, from application to closing.
  12. Assist in opening/closing the Financial Center or Bank Mart.
  13. Stay updated on procedures to mitigate fraud and risk.
Qualifications
  • College degree or relevant work experience.

  • Professional appearance and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of retail policies and sound judgment.
