Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Virginia is looking for a Retail Parts Pro to support advanced DIY services and parts identification. You will assist customers in-store and by phone, perform battery tests and installations, and help maintain inventory and store standards. A strong knowledge of automotive systems and parts is essential.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in automotive parts and excellent communication skills. This full-time role requires flexibility for varied shifts and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of prior automotive parts experience.
• Proven sales ability with fulfillment of customer transactions.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• English language proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Job DescriptionWhat is a Retail Parts Pro?Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
