Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Retail Parts Pro in Midlothian, VA. This full-time role supports advanced DIY services, uses store systems, and sources parts from multiple channels.

You will handle battery installations, testing, wiper routines, and customer-focused selling with a goal-driven mindset. The position requires 3–5 years of automotive parts experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of automotive parts experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating manuals, and parts catalogs; ability to write simple correspondence.
• English proficiency; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate selling experience for DIY customers in-store and over the phone.
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, and wiper installs.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.

Job DescriptionWhat is a Retail Parts Pro?Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. The role has expert knowledge of store systems, advanced automotive system knowledge and part knowledge. This role has the ability for advanced identification, trouble shooting and project assistance for DIY customers. The role has the ability to source from numerous places including special order, FDO, second source, etc. The role has in-depth knowledge of the store inventory and maintenance processes.
