Position: Retail Parts Pro

This is a professional-level sales position supporting advanced functions of the DIY business, requiring expert knowledge of store systems, automotive parts, and troubleshooting. The role involves advanced identification, sourcing, and project assistance for DIY customers, with a comprehensive understanding of store inventory and maintenance processes. The position is full-time.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and calls
• Achieve personal and store sales goals and service objectives
• Manage DIY services such as battery installation, testing, and wiper installs
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store appearance
• Perform key holder duties including task assignment, safety, and opening/closing responsibilities

Secondary Responsibilities

• Assist with inventory processes like truck put-away, cycle counts, and back stock
• Ensure store cleanliness and safety standards
• Provide DIY services including battery installation and testing

• Proficiency with POS and parts lookup systems

Essential Skills and Experience

• Effective communication in English; Spanish is a plus
• Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and parts catalogs
• Completion of Parts Knowledge Assessment
• Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required
• ASE certification preferred but not mandatory
