Job Description

What is a Retail Parts Pro?

Professional level sales position supporting advanced functions of the DIY business. Requires expert knowledge of store systems, automotive systems, and parts. Responsible for advanced identification, troubleshooting, project assistance for DIY customers, sourcing from various channels, and maintaining store inventory. Full-time position.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Provide GAS2 selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
2. Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
3. Manage DIY services including battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
4. Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance
5. Key holder responsibilities (task assignment, safety, opening/closing duties)

Secondary Responsibilities

1. Assist in store inventory processes (truck put away, cycle counts, back stock)
2. Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
3. Provide DIY services (battery installation, testing, wiper installs)

Prior Experience

3-5 years in automotive parts; proven sales experience in customer transactions.

Education & Certifications

Valid driver’s license required. ASE certification preferred but not mandatory.
