Job summary

Lip Lab in Chicago is seeking a Parties & Guest Experience Lead to deliver best-in-class guest experiences, manage party bookings, and drive operations with the store team.

The role partners with the Store Manager and ASM to achieve service goals, manages appointment systems, and fosters a fun, inclusive culture while supporting growth opportunities and employee development.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in guest services, multi-tasking, and delegation.
• Leader by example with a can-do attitude and goes above and beyond.
• Proficiency with POS systems, Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Provide a best-in-class guest experience from start to finish, including reservations and hosting parties.
• Collaborate with store manager and ASM to ensure top service and goal attainment.
• Optimize appointment management and partner with leadership to handle party processes and guest concerns.
• Manage party bookings, emailing, invoicing, and ensure great guest and employee experience.
• Lead hosting of parties and serve as manager on duty to ensure optimal guest experiences.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets to coach and develop the team.

Position: Parties & Guest Experience Lead

Status: Full Time (30+ hours per week)

Reports To: Store Manager

The Role

As the Parties & Guest Experience Lead, you will be responsible for providing a best-in-class guest experience. Managing the systems and process to support Sales & Operations. You will not only be assisting with the day in and day out operations of the store but will also help in maintaining a fun, inclusive atmosphere that guests and employees will all want to be a part of.

The salary range for this position is$18.00 - $20.00 per hour. This role is also eligible to earntipsin addition to the hourly rate, based upon store location. Most roles earn an additional$8 - $10 per hour intips.*

Offered salary is dependent upon experience and location.

What We Are Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in guest services, multi-tasking, and delegation
• Someone who leads by example with a can-do attitude and always goes above and beyond.
• Proficiency with POS systems, excel, MS word, outlook, and google docs.
• Experience with appointment-based business and systems.
• An ability to identify opportunities within team, coach, and work alongside management to execute any training or follow up required.
• Comfortable in a fast paced, high-volume environment
• This role requires the ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours per shift, occasionally lift and carry objects weighing 10-50 pounds, and perform tasks that involve bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching both overhead and below shoulder level.

What You Will Do

• Providing a unique and entertaining guest experience from beginning to end, confirming reservations, welcoming guests, completing reservations and hosting parties.
• Working closely with store manager and assistant store manager to ensure teams are delivering top service and goals are achieved.
• Optimize the business through strong appointment management and partnership with the leadership team. The ability to manage an appointment system, party process, guest complaints in partnership with SM/ASM.
• Manage the party booking process, emailing, invoicing, and ensure great guest and employee experience
• Take the lead on hosting parties, being the manager on duty, and ensuring guests appointments deliver optimal experiences.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs to coach and develop the team.
