Overview

At Office Depot Inc., the Retail Team Lead is a part-time role providing “total solutions” to our customers encompassing Products, Technology, Services, Furniture, and Print offerings. The Team Lead will build and maintain customer relationships, support sales efforts, and foster a customer-centric environment aligned with Office Depot's 5C values: Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. They will demonstrate passion for the brand, products, and services, utilizing proven sales principles to engage customers and ensure satisfaction.

Additionally, the Retail Team Lead will help create a vibrant sales culture, oversee visual merchandising, logistics, and may perform Key Carrier and Leader on Duty functions, including opening and closing the store and ensuring safety and security.

Primary Responsibilities

• Print Sales and Services: Support efficient operation, operate equipment, and maintain quality in print services.
• Operational Efficiency: Process merchandise, identify process improvements, support loss prevention, and contribute to sales and profitability.
• Client Engagement: Enhance customer satisfaction, support community outreach, and develop personal selling skills.
• External Key Carrier and Leader on Duty: Ensure store safety, perform opening/closing duties, and assist with cash handling and audits.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of related experience; sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for sales and customer service.

Additional Information
