Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You'll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

As a Store Associate, you will actively connect with customers, address their needs by recommending products, services, and solutions. You will help create a vibrant sales culture, enhance store visual and merchandising standards, and contribute to a customer-centric environment aligned with Office Depot's values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. You will be trained in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively and apply sales principles to foster growth.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   1. Engage proactively with every customer.
   2. Promote solutions and additional products/services.
   3. Be aware of promotions, advertisements, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations Commitment:
   1. Maintain store and print department appearance.
   2. Follow signage, labeling, and merchandising standards.
   3. Manage freight, inventory, and stock organization.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   1. Develop product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques:
   1. Follow company policies and support loss prevention.
   2. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
• Customer-focused, positive, and action-oriented with a passion for the brand.
