Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You'll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

In this role, you will actively connect with customers, recommend products and services, and support a vibrant sales culture. You will also receive training in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively and apply sales principles to grow our business.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Experience: Engage proactively with customers, promote solutions, and support advertising and sales promotions.
2. Store Operations: Maintain store and print department appearance, organize freight, and manage inventory lows and outs.
3. Print and Tech Expertise: Develop product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques: Follow company policies, support loss prevention, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic computer skills and good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
