Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You'll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

As a Store Associate, you will actively connect with customers, address their needs by recommending products, services, and solutions, and help create a vibrant sales culture. You will support store standards, logistics, and prioritize customer satisfaction, all while contributing to a positive culture aligned with Office Depot's values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity. Training in technology and print products/services will equip you to assist customers effectively, applying sales principles to foster growth.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   1. Support a positive customer experience by engaging proactively.
   2. Promote sales of solutions and additional products/services.
   3. Be aware of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations Commitment:
   1. Maintain store and print department appearance according to guidelines.
   2. Adhere to signage, labeling, and presentation standards.
   3. Follow sorting, stocking, and freight processes.
   4. Organize freight sorting areas.
   5. Investigate and fill inventory lows daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   1. Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through training.
   2. Pursue certifications if required.
4. Sales Techniques:
   1. Ensure compliance with policies and support loss prevention.
   2. Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required.

• Ability to read, count, and write accurately.
