Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success in today's retail landscape. You'll engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

As a Store Associate, you will actively connect with customers, address their needs by recommending products, services, and solutions to enhance their experience. You will help create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, maintain store standards, support logistics, and prioritize customer satisfaction. You will be trained in technology and print products/services to assist customers effectively, applying sales principles to contribute to business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   • Support a positive customer experience by proactively engaging every customer.
   • Promote the sale of products and services using the selling program.
   • Be aware of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations Commitment:
   • Maintain store and print department appearance according to guidelines.
   • Ensure proper signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation.
   • Follow sorting, stocking, and freight processes.
   • Organize freight sorting area.
   • Investigate and fill inventory lows daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   • Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through training.
   • Seek continued education and certifications as required.
4. Sales Techniques:
   • Ensure compliance with policies and support loss prevention.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required.
