Overview

As a Part Time Retail Store Associate at Office Depot, your role is vital to our success. You will engage with customers in a friendly and knowledgeable manner, creating a positive shopping experience while driving sales.

In this role, you will actively connect with customers, address their needs, recommend products and solutions, and support a vibrant sales culture. You will also assist in maintaining store standards, visual merchandising, freight, logistics, and prioritize customer satisfaction. Training in technology and print products/services will equip you to assist customers effectively, applying sales principles to foster growth.

The role is essential in driving store success through sales and service excellence, especially in Print and Technology areas. The ideal candidate is passionate about sales, customer service, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   • Engage proactively with customers, promote solutions, and be aware of promotions and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations:
   • Maintain store appearance, signage, merchandise presentation, and organize freight according to guidelines.
   • Manage inventory levels daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   • Develop product knowledge through training and certifications.
4. Sales Techniques:
   • Follow company policies, support loss prevention, and perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
