Overview

As a Retail Sr. Store Associate-Part Time, you will actively connect with customers, addressing their needs by recommending the right products, services, and solutions to enhance their experience. Through enthusiasm and expertise, Sr. Store Associates will help us create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhancing our store's visual and merchandising standards, freight, and logistics activities, and prioritizing unparalleled client satisfaction. The Sr. Store Associate will support a customer-centric environment, engagement with the local community, all while contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   • Support a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
   • Utilize and understand the selling program to promote the best solutions and additional products/services.
   • Be aware of planned advertisements, promotions, sales, and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations:
   • Maintain store and print department appearance per guidelines, keeping the environment neat and stocked.
   • Adhere to signage, labeling, and merchandise presentation standards.
   • Follow sorting, stocking, and freight processes, ensuring organization and setup are in accordance with guidelines.
   • Investigate and fill inventory lows and outs daily.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   • Develop personal selling skills and product knowledge through provided sales and service tools, including advanced training in Print and Technology.
   • Pursue continued education and certifications as required.
4. Compliance and Support:
   • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and loss prevention efforts.
   • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required; retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and G-Mail.
• Ability to process information/merchandise via POS system.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for interacting with people.

Additional Information

The salary range is $12.50/hour to $14.50/hour, with compliance to local minimum wages. Benefits include a 401(k) plan and opportunities for growth.
