Overview

As a Retail Sr. Store Associate-Part Time, you will actively connect with customers, addressing their needs by recommending the right products, services, and solutions to enhance their experience. Through enthusiasm and expertise, Sr. Store Associates will help us create and nurture a vibrant sales culture, enhancing our store's visual and merchandising standards, freight, and logistics activities, and prioritizing unparalleled client satisfaction. The Sr. Store Associate will support a customer-centric environment, engagement with the local community, all while contributing to a positive culture aligned with the Office Depot 5C values of Customer, Commitment, Change, Caring, and Creativity.

Responsibilities

1. Customer Centric Experience:
   1. Supports a positive customer-centric experience by proactively acknowledging and engaging every customer.
   2. Utilizes and understands the selling program to promote the sale of the best solution as well as additional products and/or services.
   3. Maintains awareness of planned advertisements, promotions, and sales and loyalty programs.
2. Store Operations Commitment:
   1. Maintains store and print department appearance to company guidelines and keeps a neat, clean, well-stocked environment.
   2. Adheres to signage labeling and merchandise presentation standards.
   3. Follows sorting and stocking guidelines and completes freight processes.
   4. Ensures freight sorting area is organized and set up according to guidelines.
   5. Fills inventory lows and outs daily by scanning and investigating.
3. Print and Tech Expertise:
   1. Develops personal selling skills and product knowledge through sales and service tools, including successful completion of advanced Print and Technology training.
   2. Continued education and certifications in these areas are expected.
4. Compliance and Support:
   1. Ensures compliance with company policies and supports loss prevention efforts.
   2. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No previous experience required; retail sales experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills required: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, G-Mail.
• Ability to process information through POS system, read, count, and write accurately.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills; enjoys interacting with people.

Additional Information

Role involves supporting store operations, developing product knowledge, and delivering excellent customer service. The salary range is $12.00/hour to $15.00/hour, with benefits including a 401(k).
