Job summary

Publix is seeking a Retail Accounting Analyst HS3, Payroll in Lakeland, FL. The role audits store P&L reporting and provides SME guidance on bonuses and P&L to Retail Operations and leadership.

Primary duties include reviewing inventory documents, auditing vouchers and costs, and ensuring accurate weekly P&L statements for key stakeholders. A structured bonus plan and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or another analytical discipline or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review inventory documents to ensure adjusted ending inventory reflects values while complying with SOX controls.
• Audit sub-department voucher expenses and retail/cost items for proper recording.
• Provide SME support to Retail Operations and Retail Leadership regarding bonuses and P&L reporting.
• Ensure donation forms are received and accounted for for potential tax benefits.
