Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina is hiring Retail Outlet/Recycle Associates at our Conover location. You will help price and stock donations, move items to the sales floor and to the recycle area, and operate pallet jacks or forklifts after training.

The role requires a high school diploma, cash register experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Schedule includes evenings and weekends, with pay at $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Cash register experience and ability to count cash required.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Price and stock donations.
• Move carts of goods in and out of the sales area.
• Pull items from sales floor to carts/totes and move to recycle area.
• Inspect bins to ensure proper sorting in/outlet store.
• Load cardboard and textiles into baling machines.
• Fill out light paperwork and maintain weight/item logs.
• Use pallet jack or forklift after training to move large bins and stack pallets.
• Frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs; occasional up to 50 lbs.
