Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Livonia, MI is hiring a Retail Outlet Associate for a part-time role. You will deliver world-class customer service, manage store presentation, merchandising, cash handling, and assist with key controls.

The position offers a schedule of 25-30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with 7:00am to 6:00pm availability often required. Prior retail experience is preferred and you must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• 1 year of retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
• Communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register, handle cash and prepare status reports using cash registers and/or computer systems.
• Maintain inventory/ stock levels on the sales floor and restocking shelves.
• Responsible for product merchandising standards, pricing, signage, and coding on the sales floor and answer incoming phone calls.
• Maintain a clean, neat work area to ensure store exceeds all cleanliness standards, including parking lots, carts, and trash areas.

The Retail Outlet Associate is responsible for world class customer service, store presentation, product merchandising, cash and key controls as assigned by their supervisor.
