Job summary

Ozark Bank is seeking a Retail Operations & Training Officer to support branch operations by providing operational expertise, developing practical training programs, and helping ensure consistent, customer-focused service across all locations.

You’ll serve as a resource for branch leadership and frontline staff, designing training, creating job aids, and coordinating updates. This role emphasizes problem-solving and coaching to drive branch success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent banking experience.
• Five+ years of progressive experience in retail banking operations, branch administration, retail training, or a related banking role.
• Experience conducting employee training, coaching, or facilitating learning programs.
• Experience creating procedures, job aids, training guides, or operational resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support branch teams with questions related to retail banking procedures, controls, and customer service standards.
• Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve retail procedures, job aids, checklists, and training materials.
• Coordinate the rollout of new procedures and operational updates.
• Design and deliver engaging training programs for new and existing employees.
• Identify knowledge gaps and create resources to help employees succeed.
• Collaborate with Retail, Compliance, Operations, IT, HR, and leadership on initiatives.
• Promote consistent service standards reflecting Ozark Bank's community banking commitment.

What You’ll Do

As a Retail Operations & Training Officer, you’ll serve as a key resource for branch leadership and frontline staff by:

• Supporting branch teams with questions related to retail banking procedures, controls, and customer service standards
• Helping identify operational challenges and recommending practical solutions
• Developing, maintaining, and improving retail procedures, job aids, checklists, and training materials
