Job Summary: PetSmart’s Process Lead (Retail Operations Supervisor) shares responsibility for driving operational excellence, including merchandising, inventory management, pet care, opening/closing the store, overseeing associates, and maintaining safety and organization.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting and guiding sales associates in merchandise handling, training, onboarding, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Leading store operations such as merchandise strategies, inventory audits, POS transactions, and maintaining store standards.
• Managing pet care standards, ensuring positive pet parent experiences, and responding to health concerns.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years retail supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Full-time availability, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in computer applications and strong communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure, maintain organization, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

Physical demands: Standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 50 pounds, exposure to pet hair and live animals, and moderate noise levels.
