Position Summary

Pharmacists at ECU Health are committed to improving care for the patients and customers we serve, through maximizing medication distribution and optimizing drug therapy outcomes: educating patients, providers and ourselves on best practices, and fully integrating pharmacists into the continuum of care. Pharmacists report directly to a designated Pharmacy Supervisor or Manager based on area of practice.

Minimum Requirements
  • BS or PharmD in pharmacy from accredited school of pharmacy.
  • 0 years of relevant pharmacy experience (post‑graduation). New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the NC Board of Pharmacy by start date.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of start date.
  • Obtains continuing education credits as required by the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy to maintain licensure.
