Job summary

Equinox in Brickell is seeking a Retail Operations/Merchandising Support to manage stock, floor presentation, and merchandising across its luxury club environment. You will handle shipments, inventory audits, stockroom organization, and cross-functional collaboration with club operations to align retail initiatives with events and member traffic.

The role emphasizes visual standards, rotating stock, floor set execution, and mannequin styling to tell seasonal stories for elite fitness members.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in retail stock operations or luxury retail.
• Experience using inventory management software and POS systems.
• Strong eye for color, spacing, and brand consistency.
• Able to stand long, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Passion for luxury fitness, wellness, and contemporary fashion trends.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unbox, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips to ensure accuracy.
• Lead inventory tracking, cycle counts, and seasonal stock audits to minimize shrink and improve data integrity.
• Maintain a highly organized, clean stockroom for easy access by floor staff.
• Manage RTV and log damaged/defective items per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Equinox Club Operations and management on retail initiatives.
• Translate corporate visual merchandising directives into floor sets for each club footprint.
• Maintain premium standards on the sales floor through steaming, product runs, and display adjustments.
• Rotate slow-moving items and highlight high-margin products based on weekly sales data.
• Style mannequins and focal walls to tell compelling seasonal stories for high-end members.

Job Description

Inventory & Stock Operations

• Shipment Management:Receive, unbox, and meticulously verify incoming product shipments against packing slips to ensure absolute accuracy.
• Inventory Control:Lead inventory tracking, cycle counts, and seasonal stock audits to minimize shrink and ensure high data integrity.
• Stockroom Optimization:Maintain a highly organized, clean, and efficient stockroom layout that enables floor staff to locate sizes and styles instantly.
• Defect & RTV Processing:Manage the Return-to-Vendor (RTV) process and log any damaged or defective items per corporate guidelines.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with theEquinox Club Operationsand general management teams to ensure retail initiatives align with overall club events and member traffic.

Visual Merchandising & Floor Presentation

• Floor Set Execution:Translate corporate visual merchandising directives into reality, adapting floor layouts to fit your specific club’s footprint.
• Aesthetic Maintenance:Ensure the sales floor continuously meets Equinox's premium standards by steaming apparel, sizing product runs, and adjusting displays throughout the day.
• Product Rotation:Partner with shop leadership to analyze weekly sales data, rotating slow-moving items and highlighting high-margin bestsellers.
• Mannequin & Window Styling:Style mannequins and focal walls to tell compelling seasonal stories that resonate with high-end fitness members.

Qualifications

• Experience:1–3 years of experience in retail stock operations, visual merchandising, or an equivalent luxury retail role.
• Operational Skills:Exceptional organizational habits with experience utilizing inventory management software and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Visual Eye:A strong grasp of color theory, spacing, and styling; ability to maintain brand consistency without direct supervision.
• Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift/move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility:Available to work a varied schedule dictated by shipment days, floor sets, and club traffic—including early mornings, weekends, and select holidays.
• Brand Alignment:A passion for luxury fitness, wellness, and contemporary fashion trends.
