Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store associate at TJ Maxx Nashville to execute receiving and merchandising standards and to ensure Associates process efficiently while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will train and mentor team members, maintain store organization and safety, and promote loyalty programs. The role requires flexibility for nights/weekends and offers starting pay of USD $14.50 to $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking and working nights/weekends.
• Able to train others and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards and ensure Associates are processing efficiently.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Promotes safety, maintains backroom organization, and supports shrink reduction goals.
