Job summary

TJ Maxx in Placerville, CA is seeking a Store Associate who will execute receiving and merchandising standards while ensuring a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will train and mentor Associates, tag and hang merchandise, keep back stock organized, and partner with Management to meet store goals, safety, and policy compliance. This role also requires flexibility to work nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute receiving and merchandising standards across the store.
• Ensure associates process goods efficiently and interact with customers.
• Train and mentor associates on merchandising principles.
• Tag, hang, and code merchandise accurately.
• Coordinate with the on-duty coordinator to move goods to sales floor.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching as needed.
• Maintain backroom organization and signage standards.
• Support safety and labor law compliance.
