Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to support daily cashier and clerk duties in our Wichita store. You will maintain clean, organized sales floors, assist customers, manage stock and participate in training and supervision of fellow staff.

The role involves operating ADP payroll-related duties, coordinating with management, and occasional travel to other locations. Weekend work may be required, with opportunities to contribute to community programs.

Qualifications

• High school education; two years college or the equivalent.
• Bookkeeping and accounting knowledge could be beneficial.
• Three to five years of upper management experience (as per job scope).

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance in the day-to-day duties of cashier or clerk for a Goodwill store.
• Oversees store operations, including inventory, stock transfers and displays.
• Maintains store cleanliness, displays and customer service standards.
• Trains and supervises store personnel; conducts evaluations and coaching.
• Travels to other Goodwill locations as needed; works weekends when required.
