Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and interpret directives is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as part of daily duties.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays; ensure store cleanliness and appearance.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling).
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom; protect store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies; supervise, train, and develop Store Associates; foster a positive environment.
• Ensure professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders; maintain cleanliness throughout the store.
