Job summary

ALO is seeking an Operations Associate in Huntington Station, NY, to drive profitability and efficiency within the store team. You will partner with the Operations & Visual Management group to execute inventory and process improvements, while supporting shipments, replenishment, and merchandising.

The role requires constant movement, strong customer service, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience in a client-centric sales/operations environment.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently through a retail space.
• Comfort with physical tasks and constant movement.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management with focus on accuracy and shrink reduction.
• Investigate and address inventory accuracy issues with store leadership.
• Support shipment, receiving, replenishment, floor recovery, and supply management processes.
• Maintain strong visual standards on the sales floor.
• Collaborate with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, and vendor relations to maximize performance.
• Promote a safe, efficient work environment and stockroom standards.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to meet business needs and guest expectations.
• Contribute to company-level operations initiatives with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist in processing shipments and daily replenishment, including merchandising placement.
• Use metrics to inform business decisions and drive performance.
• Resolve customer needs quickly and ensure satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to meet goals.
• Duties require constant movement and proactivity to keep store clean and operational.
