Job summary

Kids for the Future is seeking a Retail Operations & Gifting Coordinator to manage retail product administration, inventory replenishment, e-commerce operations, and corporate gifting across locations.

The role supports the Retail Director to ensure stores are stocked, informed, and equipped for successful retail execution year-round, with holiday-season shift to corporate gifting and online order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor retail inventory levels and replenishment needs across all store locations.
  • Prepare purchase orders for review and approval.
  • Coordinate vendor ordering and follow-up communications.
  • Track deliveries and communicate shortages, delays, or inventory concerns.
  • Support assortment planning, product introductions, and discontinuations.
  • Assist with inventory forecasting for seasonal products, promotions, and special programs.
  • Serve as a resource for store managers regarding retail products, inventory, signage, and replenishment.

Description

The Retail Operations & Gifting Coordinator is a centralized support role responsible for retail product administration, inventory replenishment coordination, e-commerce operations, and corporate gifting execution across all TASTE locations.

This position works closely with the Retail Director to ensure stores are stocked, informed, and equipped for successful retail execution throughout the year. During the holiday season, the role transitions to support corporate gifting, e-commerce operations, customer service, and fulfillment coordination to help drive seasonal sales and exceptional customer experiences.

Retail Operations & Product Support (January-September)
Purchasing & Inventory Coordination
  • Monitor retail inventory levels and replenishment needs across all store locations.
  • Prepare purchase orders for review and approval.
  • Coordinate vendor ordering and follow-up communications.
  • Track expected deliveries and communicate shortages, delays, or inventory concerns.
  • Support assortment planning, product introductions, and product discontinuations.
  • Assist with inventory forecasting for seasonal products, promotions, and special programs.
Store Operations Support
  • Serve as a resource for store managers regarding retail products, inventory, signage, and replenishment questions.
  • Facilitate communication between stores and the Retail Director.
  • Assist with special retail projects, promotions, and operational initiatives.
  • Help ensure consistent retail execution across all locations.
E-Commerce & Gifting Operations (October-December)
Corporate Gifting & Inside Sales
  • Coordinate corporate gifting orders from inquiry through fulfillment.
  • Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and order customization.
  • Prepare quotes, coordinate order details, and manage customer communications.
  • Identify opportunities to support and grow gifting sales.
E-Commerce Administration
  • Maintain online product listings, pricing, inventory availability, and website content.
  • Monitor incoming orders and address customer inquiries regarding online purchases.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure product availability and order accuracy.
  • Support seasonal promotions and online merchandising initiatives.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and order concerns.
  • Coordinate shipping documentation, labels, and fulfillment logistics.
  • Assist with holiday order processing and fulfillment tracking.
  • Work closely with operations teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
  • Help resolve order issues and provide exceptional customer service throughout the holiday season.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, push, and pull throughout the shift.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move pallets, carts, totes, and inventory safely.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
