Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. in Las Vegas is hiring for a store role focused on receiving and merchandising with a strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer experience. You will help maintain organized stock, tag and price merchandise, and ensure a smooth flow of goods from truck to floor.

You will train associates, uphold store standards, and contribute to safety and loss-prevention initiatives. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Creates a positive internal and external customer experience
• Orchestrates truck delivery, prioritizing the processing of merchandise onto the sales floor
• Trains and mentors Associates on established merchandising and processing principles
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure efficient flow of goods to sales floor
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards
• Maintains all organizational, cleanliness and recovery standards for the backroom area
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Supports and participates in store shrink reduction goals and programs
• Promotes safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
