Dollar Tree Stores in Aliquippa, PA is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to join the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team and delivering positive experiences for our communities. The role focuses on merchandising and processing freight.

You will assist with store functions, open/close, protect assets, and maintain clean stockroom and sales floor while adhering to policies and safety guidelines. Additional duties include freight management, stocking, and planning monthly Sales Planners.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
• Maintain areas of the store, including stockroom and sales floor, to company standards.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain store cleanliness and presentability throughout.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Process receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manage freight flow per productivity standards.
• Order and stock merchandise needs, including frozen & refrigerated items.
• Ensure the sales floor is sales-effective.
• Plan, merchandise, and maintain Clip Strips and Power Panels.
• Plan and implement monthly Sales Planners.
