Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a store team member for TJ Maxx Chandler, AZ to support receiving, merchandising and customer service. You’ll work closely with a vibrant team to keep the store clean, organized, and efficient, while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

The role requires flexible scheduling, strong communication, and the ability to train others. You will participate in stock flow, backroom organization, and safety programs as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Capable of multi-tasking.
• Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
• 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
• Team player with ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Executes receiving and merchandising standards and ensures Associates process efficiently.
• Engages with customers to deliver an excellent store experience.
• Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise onto the sales floor.
• Trains and mentors Associates on merchandising and processing principles.
• Ensures merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
• Communicates with the Coordinator on Duty to ensure flow of goods to sales floor.
• Monitors productivity and coaches the team as needed.
• Maintains back stock organization and recovery standards.
• Upholds merchandising philosophy and signage standards.
• Promotes safety and complies with labor laws and company policies.
