Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate apparel merchandiser to bring fashion to life at the store level. As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you will ensure clothing is styled, organized, and presented to reflect brand identity and attract shoppers.

Working hands-on in stores, you'll be responsible for styling mannequins and displays to create a polished, trend-forward shopping experience. This independent contractor role requires tackling planograms, conducting store visits, and reporting via

Qualifications

• Proven experience in apparel merchandising or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working with mannequins (assembling, updating, and styling).
• A portfolio of work is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel displays.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer, Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift
