Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a Retail Support Merchandiser in Mount Vernon, IL to support ongoing store presentation and project-based merchandising initiatives as an independent contractor.

You will stock and merchandise products, execute displays and planogram resets, build strong relationships with store management, report results with photos, and adapt quickly to changing project needs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organization, time management, and accountability.
• Detail-oriented with merchandising and visual presentation.
• Experience in retail, merchandising, or consumer packaged goods preferred.
• Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Planogram experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock, replenish, and merchandise products to uphold brand standards.
• Execute merchandising projects, displays, resets, and promotions.
• Build relationships with store management and associates.
• Ensure planogram compliance and product placement.
• Complete store visit reports with photos and feedback.
• Communicate opportunities, challenges, and updates.
• Manage schedules and store visits to meet deadlines.
• Maintain quality, professionalism, and accountability.
• Support large-scale merchandising initiatives as needed.
