Job summary

Dollar Tree in Honea Path, SC is seeking a Merchandise Assistant Manager to support the Store Manager and lead a team in merchandising and freight processing.

You will assist with daily store operations, ensure store cleanliness, and uphold safety and company policies while delivering friendly customer service. This role requires retail leadership experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protect and secure company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to all policies and safety guidelines.
• Maintain stockroom and sales floor to company standards.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Ensure store is clean, neat, and presentable; manage sanitation duties.
