Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an experienced retail leader to support store operations and drive performance.

You will assist the Store Manager with SOP adherence, policy execution, and daily leadership coverage to ensure exceptional customer service and store condition. You will coordinate merchandising, inventory control, and fulfillment processes while coaching team members to achieve business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Oversee planogram execution and visual merchandising to company standards.
• Manage inventory control, stock movement, and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing development.
