Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager for SEA-Federal Way, WA to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Ensure execution of Company policies, standards, and store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage, maintaining floor leadership, service standards, and operational continuity.
• Lead truck execution processes with timely unloading, sorting, and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership alignment to business needs.
• Maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution to complete merchandising sets on time and accurately.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant, customer-focused signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately maintaining pricing integrity across the floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment with order picking, packing and shipping timely and accurate.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
