The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Paso Robles, CA area to drive merchandising and store operational execution.

Responsibilities include truck processing, planogram sets, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution to keep a customer-ready store environment. You will lead workload planning, inventory routines, and in-stock optimization while ensuring policy compliance and strong floor leadership.

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and store floor leadership.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandising flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy through SISO routines.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized, customer-ready store environment and backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across the floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes for inventory accuracy.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices.
