L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We distribute over 40,000 items, including cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more, through three regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada.

We are seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser to service retail stores such as Albertson's, Safeway, Cub Foods, Hy-Vee, and Kroger across various locations in the West, Central, and East Coast regions.

Retail Merchandiser – Ordering and Merchandising

Store Locations: Wichita, KS; Arkansas City, KS; Augusta, KS; Dodge City, KS; EL Dorado, KS; Wellington, KS

Pay rate: Up to $16.00

Hours: 30 hours/week

Essential Job Functions:

• Service store routes according to assigned call frequencies, working closely with the District Manager
• Place inventory orders following store guidelines, using company-provided tablets and Repsly software
• Follow store visit procedures, including merchandising delivery, task documentation, photography, stock maintenance, and special projects
• Stay informed about current sales, promotions, and policies on invoicing, exchanges, and returns
• Understand planograms and departmental footage, balancing sales and inventory control

Additional Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional communication with store staff during visits
• Verify and check in merchandise shipments with store personnel
• Ensure displays and shelves are clean and organized
• Conduct store surveys and audits, including taking photographs to resolve issues
• Perform physical work, frequently lifting 15 to 50 lbs
• Opportunity to service additional stores as needed

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.; retail or merchandising experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance
• Own vehicle for store travel
• Clean motor vehicle record (no more than three violations in the last 3 years)
• Smartphone or computer with internet access
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
